Zagreb – Another seminar that Croatian Chamber of Economy was host to was held on February 5, 2009 and dealt with the topic of EU Programs. As a guest lecturer, Mr. Tomislav Belovari spoke about the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) whose goal is to increase innovation and competitiveness levels on the market, encourage new research, simplify technology transfer and provide information to small and medium enterprises.
EU Competition Criteria and Funding Future In order for a project to be chosen for EU funding, it is quite important that it satisfies the competition documentation standards, contributes to the export and employment, that it has good project partners as well as the ability to be executed successfully. It is also of significance that a project is coherent with both national and regional strategies. A tenfold increase in funding allocation is expected once Croatia enters the European Union.
